Snap + Ink

I am thrilled to be included as one of the artists interviewed for this amazing new e-course by Snaps & Ink. The course is called Captivating, it is a journey into creativity. It is about preparing a safe haven for our creativity to manifest, taking a closer look at the world around us and being gentle and mindful with our dreams. It sounds amazing! I had the pleasure of getting to know lovely Madalyn during our Unravelling course, and I have to tell you, she's got some great ideas. The questions that she asked me in our interview knocked my socks off with their perceptive depth, and the list of other female artists that she has on the course agenda is really exciting. You can take a sneak peak here.
In her words:
"Our journey [in the e-course] will be invigorating and create fresh wind for your sails." I just love that.

How exciting, your paintings are so beautiful and I love all of them! I keep trying to set money aside and then something pops up I have to pull it all out of savings, ugh hate when that happens! Thanks for the comment on my nightlight! It was super easy to make, I paid 8 dollars for the nightlight itself and then I bought fabric and all you have to do is stick it right on the shade! It was really fun to make too! <3 Sonja

That's a beautiful site she has -- congratulations on being selected for an interview. That must help give you more clarity on what you do. I think it would get me thinking in new ways about what it is I am after . . . funny how making art feels solitary in some respects, but then it takes another person at times to help me see what it is I'm doing.
p.s. Regarding your previous post about being spread a little thin. I was hoping that you are getting some moments to yourself so you can recharge . . . lately I've needed that more than ever. Maybe it's the time change or just extra things going on, but I am sensing a greater need to take care of myself right now. Anyway, just hoping you are taking taking some time for you if you can carve out a bit of it!
