a cleansing elixir,
resounding friendship,
the warmest embrace,
an honest reflection,
God's gift,
a deep gaze,
a joyful breath,
wild abandon,
a safe haven,
a counter balance,
a quenching well,
a quiet whisper,
my candle's light.
Frank and I, at dinner on my birthday last year.This new painting, poem included, are dedicated to my amazing husband. I'm thinking that this one is perfect for Valentines Day, but really its for everyday. There are really never enough days to celebrate LOVE.

Gosh, what a beautiful painting, poem, thought. It's just amazing. . and I mean that truly about your painting, too. I think it is quickly rising to be one of my very favorites. It says so much with the imagery and the colors. It's just beautiful. I like that is has a hint of schoolgirl doodling {or at least that's what I'm seeing}. Great photo of the two of you -- you're such an attractive couple! I hope you both are getting to enjoy some time together this weekend--have fun there in my favorite big city! : )
Dear Faith, that painting is outstanding,lovely, I think that your work is very beautiful, the way you take, vintagey feeling aspects with traditional asian art aspects and bring it all together to form a very modern, fresh artwork is fantastic. I too love lotus blossoms, it is all I want to paint, I started out yeasterday doing a lotus but it ended up looking like a dahlia, oh well.... also I love your color combo's!!!!
I love all your work, but this painting took my breath away! Just so much vibrancy in it and the dark clouds are there, but the birds and the light and the lotus aren't bothered by it...just beautiful. and the poem was so powerful and sweet...you are an inspiration to me!
