as always i love to go on a walk with you and discover a part of the world that looks so different to where i live. some of it reminds me of parts of europe - maybe because of the trees and the old buildings. i wonder how different to this your new home will be... xo
To fulfill our dream of living and painting by the sea, my husband and I moved our family to the enchanting city of Charleston, South Carolina in 2011 after 15 years in New York City. Today I paint and show my art in Brooklyn and South Carolina, while also running my online shop and blog showcasing my work and inspirations. I live with my husband, a fellow painter, and our two children in our dream house near the ocean where I maintain a close connection to my inspirations in nature through walks on the beach, teaching my children to surf, gardening and frequent trips to wild places.
Here on my blog I record my art, daydreams, inspirations, news of upcoming and current shows, peeks into my world and bits of my everyday life.
In my work I draw inspiration from nature, love, Asian art, textiles, fairy tales and most importantly the relationships that shape me.
*all artwork/photographs that you see on this blog are (c) Faith Evans-Sills, unless noted otherwise. I am so happy if you'd like to re-post one of my photos or paintings but please always link back and give credit to me! I take copyright seriously, as we all should. Thank you and Blessings.
