Horizon

Horizon

I have always been drawn to Horizons. That point of intersection between the earth, sky and sea holds so much allure. There are the emotional and mental sort of horizons as well, when you can just feel something coming close...a breakthrough, or breakdown. You can catch glimpses of what's approaching, and gain insights into the bigger picture.
Inspired by Asian landscapes, enchantment and mystery this painting is about the possibility that Horizons hold.

I just added this new original painting to my shop, prints will be available soon.

I'm learning so much from you . . . you're touching on process just a little and inspiration again . . it's endlessly intriguing to me. This little painting has such interesting elements in it. I love the size. The little flowers remind me of those necklaces strung with little candies--what pretty colors.

Hi Faith! I'm Janine and I'm taking the 'be it. live it. do it.' course with you.

I'm having a déjà vu moment... something about your amazing paintings has stirred my memory, and I've just realized that a few months ago, when I got started on this blogging journey, I bookmarked YOUR Etsy shop as one of my first inspirations!

So strange, but so it is... your work is just so lovely. Pleased to meet you :-))
