Evening on the beach, 37th week

This past week one of my oldest and dearest friends, Larissa, was visiting us. We couldn't remember the last time we had a whole week to spend time together, it was a treat especially as I am so close to having this baby and there are so many things on my mind that were good to talk through with an old friend.
We had to take things slowly since I'm still recovering from my Pneumonia, but we were able to spend some spectacular evenings on the beach, and she took some great pictures of us...and we worked on the most dreamy sand castle!

Faith, I hope you feel as amazing as you look. Glad to hear that you are recovering from your illness. So nice that you have had a chance to really enjoy this summer before baby arrives. Looking forward to good news of the new baby soon!

So great that you live at the sea side and you had such a great weather to be able to walk and enjoy! I still have 2 months to go and I'm due in February, but the weather here in Romania is nothing pleasant, as in the winter temperatures go down as low as even -15C' Celsius. Luckily we now have -3 during the nights and +5 day time.

I would also love to bring my child in our own home with a midwife, but the legal ground here is not very well stipulated and the status of a midwife is uncertain, and childbirth at home it's something many are skeptical about.

And yes, I am aware this was posted almost 3 years ago, I'm just glad I found your blog.(through the means of art, of course!)

Hugs and Love,
Cristina
